How to Add URL Parameters to Pinterest Ads

Last updated: 30 December 2025 · Applies to Pinterest Ads Manager

Pinterest needs URL parameters explicitly enabled before you can add custom tracking values. Once turned on, the same two parameters work across every ad in the campaign.

1. Open your ad campaign

Go to the Ad page in Pinterest Ads Manager and click Edit on your ad campaign.

2. Enable URL parameters

Check the box Include URL parameters, then click Edit Include URL parameters.

3. Add the custom parameters

Under Custom parameters, click Add parameters twice, then add:

Parameter nameValue
juicy_aid{adid}
juicy_sourcepinterest

4. Save

Click Save, then Save edits to confirm.

⚠️ Add these parameters to every active campaign — Pinterest applies the setting per campaign, not account-wide.
✅ Done — Juicy will now attribute orders from this campaign automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to repeat this for each campaign?

Yes. Pinterest's URL parameters are set per campaign, so any active campaign you want Juicy to track needs the same two parameters added.

Will enabling URL parameters affect my existing campaigns?

No. Turning on URL parameters only appends tracking data to your destination URL — it doesn't change targeting, bidding, or your ad creative.
